It is %100 against the colonial mandate of Canada to vote for Palestinian statehood. Doing that would set a precedent for granting statehood to occupied nations - such as ALL of the Indigenous/First Nations inside of “Canadian” borders.
I see wut yr doing Canada.

no no no. Do not fucking pin this on us. We didn’t get a fucking say here.
It’s this jackass who is the minority government leader of our country that nobody likes, who has been surgically grafted onto the US’s dick since he was made PM and has done nothing good for Canada EVER:

you can be sure every other party is pissed off this got no deliberation. This decision is not to be made by us, and none of us made a decision. Harper did. We should’ve bowed out like Australia and the UK have. And besides, the issues you are alluding to are far more complex than that as well. fffffffff

Unless something crazy happened since the last election that I didn’t hear about, he’s majority now. Because, you know, why not give the first Prime Miniter in the history of the nation to be held in contempt of parliament a majority government in the re-elecetion? Because that’s how Canadians care about politics “am I personally on fire right now? No? GREAT JOB PRIME MINISTER!”

Its interesting hearing you guys rant about Canadian internal politics. The tricky bit being you guys are also ignoring the original issue just so you can trash your Prime Minister. I’m not familiar with him, or his policies, but I DO give a shit about the Israeli-Palestinian situation. I don’t know about your Prime Minister, but I DO think he made the right move. The Palestinian crisis is a hugely complex problem, but granting membership to a government in exile that constantly engages in terror attacks on Israel, recently was only pushed off a weeks long rocket attack against Israeli civilian targets by Israel finally putting its foot down and striking back (as was their right, in accordance with Israel’s right to defend itself) and is itself a tool and puppet for various Arab, Muslim and other power groups, is a rather bad move on the part of the world. Particularly when said government, now legitimized, constantly exploits its own refugee population and toes the Muslim extremist hard line to ensure they have ready-made ‘freedom fighters’ when the next big push against Israel comes.
This is a tricky situation, people. Its a lot bigger than whether or not one Prime Minister made a shitty decision.

I wonder if anyone’s made a Mass Effect/Discworld crossover. I can just picture it…

The Reaper fleet sailed through the depths of Dark Space, their approach unstoppable, their force immovable, their cold, calculating cruelty unlimited. No force had ever held them back, no foe had ever halted their advance, and no question had ever gone unanswered before their timeless, infinite knowledge. They were past, they were future, they were the ultimate act of creation and destruction. The fate of the Galaxy lay in their hands, and nothing could hold them back.

But, soon, the Reaper fleet came across something even they could not explain. Something never encountered before. For on the edge of the galaxy, where the raw force of galactic gravity petered off, where the laws of logic broke and where the threads of reality frayed, there floated… a turtle. A turtle the size of a world, sailing through the void like it was little more than the wide, open sea. Upon its back was four elephants, and upon their backs was a flat, immense disc, upon which continents were visible. The Reapers had finally met Great A’tuin, the World Turtle.

The Reaper fleet halted in its tracks. The sheer illogic of what was before them, the impossibility of it, had stopped the Reapers. Great A’tuin, oblivious, sailed past, on its way to a destination only it knew, leaving behind the immense horde of cold, metal lobster-machines.

The Reapers sat there for eons, a thousand times a thousand generations, each one slowly losing life as their energies petered out. Life went on. The galaxy kept changing, and developing. Shepard had come and gone, leaving in his wake a thousand times a thousand generations from the thousands of women he slept with, human and Asari alike, and one special generation of human/Quarian hybrids that replaced both ancestor species. Finally, the last Reaper in existence, Harbinger, managed a response, with its final vestiges of energy. Reality had been so broken around Harbinger, that for once, and only once, sound carried through space, to be lost to the infinite void. Only one thing was said. The last Reaper passed with a single, final utterance, infinite, cruel, terrible, and utterly confused. In its dying spasms, in a low, flat voice that spoke of eons of knowledge being broken, Harbinger said, “What.”

My buddy Saika here would love to share with you his love of conquering Eastern Europe. ^^ Even though he doesn’t have a mohawk… and if he did it wouldn’t be Polish….

Mitt Romney says he doesn’t ever have to show his birth certificate- its known he was born in the United States, and uses it as a point of pride against Obama.

Good for him, but me, I don’t care where he was born. I just want to see his tax records and see just how much he’s fucking his country over by dodging every restriction that he, as a proud citizen, should be honoring.

You know, if you think about it, the song “Ground Control to Major Tom” can be seen as a metaphor for Tom Cruise’s descent into madness. Because we all know David Bowie can, along with his powers of shapeshifting, see the future.

My god, the day I’ve feared has come… the day I became a Hipster. I was afraid of the Slender Man and trees before it was cool. >.< Been around since Just Another Fool, baby, I remember when Marble Hornets was nothing but running around in parks at night.

Why won’t my Brain Shut Up

Y’know, a good Pony crossover idea might be an MLP/Alan Wake crossover. The Dark Presence might have some startling similarity with the Nightmare that overtook Princess Luna. Could be a thing, there.

-Edit- Hell, think about it. The MLPverse is a world where ponies can move the sun and moon, control the weather, all through the power of magic, and where emotional forces hold extensive sway- namely in the Elements of Harmony and those assorted concepts. Emperor knows its one Psyker away from being sucked into the Warp.

The Dark Presence could very well be one of the antitheses to the Elements- perhaps associated with Fear, Pain, Darkness, or just the fact that it, as a force, depends entirely on the Creativity of its victims. Namely, the dark side of Creativity to inflict its will on the world. I could see such a force occurring naturally in the MLPverse.

Celestia only knows if the Dark Presence (hehe, DP) managed to sink its way into a pony like Twilight or Pinkie, whose intellect and pseudo-dimensional madness, respectively, have a great impact on the world around them.

Y’know what’s weird? I’m playing Alan Wake… and on tv is The Best of the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. My god, if the Dark Presence got its hands on Bob, it wouldn’t stand a damn chance. It’d all be happy little trees and beautifully crafted mountains and the world’s problems being solved through painting.

Does anyone know what’s actually going on with Kingdom Hearts these days? Last time I played it was KH 2, then all these DS and PSP games come out, something about a prequel… I don’t have any damn cash for either. What the hell does Dream Drop Distance even mean? And 358/2 Days! Are they just throwing random words at the wall and seeing what sticks? Grah…

And was I the only one who didn’t give a shit about Roxas and his problems?
